CANMNT returns to home soil following historic FIFA World Cup 2026™; CANWNT continues preparations for Concacaf W Championship, and TELUS Canadian Championship reaches decisive stages, with matches airing on TSN, RDS, and OneSoccer
Toronto, ON — September 10, 2026 — Canada Soccer and Canadian Soccer Media & Entertainment (CSME) today announced a lineup of key Canadian soccer matches that will be available on TSN and RDS this fall, highlighted by Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team’s (CANMNT) return to home soil following its historic FIFA World Cup 2026™ campaign and Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team’s (CANWNT) preparations for the Concacaf W Championship, alongside the decisive stages of the TELUS Canadian Championship, these matches are available on TSN, with select matches available in French on RDS.
All matches will also be available on OneSoccer.
Following a landmark summer for soccer in Canada, and record interest surrounding FIFA World Cup 2026™, these matches provide fans with new opportunities to follow Canada’s National Teams, building on this unprecedented attention and connecting Canadians with the beautiful game year-round not only around the National Teams, but across Canadian competitions, clubs and players, and creating more opportunities for fans to watch and engage with the game.
CANMNT will return home hosting Chile at BMO Field in Toronto on Saturday, Sept. 26 and Peru at Stade Saputo in Montréal on Saturday, Oct. 3, before travelling to Allianz Field in Saint Paul, Minnesota to face the United States on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
CANWNT will then host Denmark twice during the October FIFA international window, beginning at Stade Saputo in Montréal on Friday, Oct. 9 before a second match at BMO Field in Toronto on Monday, Oct. 12. The matches represent an important opportunity for CANWNT to prepare on home soil ahead of the Concacaf W Championship, which serves as the qualification pathway for both the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027™ and the LA28 Olympic Games.
“This fall is an important opportunity to build on the incredible connection Canadians have developed with our National Teams. Having both our Men’s and Women’s National Teams playing meaningful matches at home, in front of Canadian supporters, is a big part of carrying that momentum forward,” said Kevin Blue, CEO & General Secretary, Canada Soccer. “We want more Canadians watching these teams, following these players and feeling connected to them, and making these matches broadly available across TSN, RDS and OneSoccer helps us do that.”
The fall lineup on TSN will also include the concluding stages of the TELUS Canadian Championship, Canada’s highest domestic knockout competition, as four clubs compete for the Voyageurs Cup and qualification to the Concacaf Champions Cup.
The semifinals — airing on TSN and RDS — feature a pair of all-league matchups, with Major League Soccer (MLS) sides Vancouver Whitecaps FC and CF Montréal going head-to-head, while Canadian Premier League (CPL) clubs Forge FC and FC Supra du Québec face off. The two-leg semifinals began Tuesday, Sept. 1, with FC Supra and Forge playing to a 1-1 draw at Stade Boréale in Laval, Que., while Vancouver tied 1-1 with Montréal at BC Place in Vancouver, B.C. on Wednesday, Sept. 2. The return legs will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 15 in Hamilton, Ont. and Wednesday, Sept. 16 in Montréal, Que.
The winners will advance to the TELUS Canadian Championship Final on Wednesday, Oct. 21, hosted in either Vancouver or Montréal as determined by the competition draw.
“The attention around soccer in Canada has never been greater, and our responsibility now is to turn that interest into a lasting connection with the game,” said James Johnson, Group CEO, Canadian Soccer Media & Entertainment. “This summer showed what is possible when Canadians come together around soccer. Now we need to give them reasons to keep watching — our National Teams, our domestic competitions, our clubs and our players. Making important matches like these available to broad audiences is part of how we build on this momentum and create lasting growth for the game in Canada.”

“The momentum behind soccer in Canada has never been stronger following FIFA World Cup 2026™, and TSN and RDS are proud to continue to bring fans some of the biggest moments in the sport,” said Shawn Redmond, VP, Bell Media Sports. “Highlighting both the Men’s and Women’s National Teams, this lineup provides viewers with even more opportunities to follow the teams and players shaping the future of soccer in this country.”
